The grapes are harvested at the foot of the Sierra Nevada Mountains and Gallo have gone to great lengths to make a great value, distinctively Californian, Rosé wine. There is a lot of competition in this sector and the secret of success is in the blend where they have excelled. Probably the ultimate inexpensive easy drinking table wine of this style with only 8.5% abv.
Tasting Notes
A light bodied, soft finish, particularly refreshing Rosé. Cold fermented using techniques to enhance the light aromas. Fresh strawberry and juicy watermelon flavours give way to a pleasant satisfying finish. Easy drinking or can accompany light foods.
