The Freixenet Rose is very popular sparkling Rose Cava from this long established Catalonian firm. Freixenet, founded in 1889, is one of the original Cava houses in the Penedes region. Cava is made in the same way as Champagne, but using different grapes, in this case, locally grown Garnacha and Trepat.
Tasting Notes
This Spanish Rose Cava probably needs no introduction, being from one of the leading wine companies of the world. Freixenet Brut Rose is crisp and lively with refreshing cherry and red berry flavours, followed by a dry finish. Serve as an aperitif or match it with salads or any white fish.
