A very popular Malbec based Rosé from Argentina's most famous wine region, Mendoza. Argento has been the leading Argentinian wine brand in Europe for the last 10 years. This wine showcases the ability of Malbec to make an excellent full bodied Rosé. It is especially good with a wide variety of food, you may have enjoyed this in good restaurants throughout the UK. Great low price.
Tasting Notes
As you would expect from the Malbec grape, this is quite deep and powerful for a Rosé. Whilst red wine drinkers will find it far lighter than a Malbec Red, they'll generally find it very acceptable indeed. Expect intense aromas of fresh red berries with concentrated dark cherry fruit flavours perhaps with a hint of melon. This is a wine you can pair over the extremes of simple salads or Indian curries! There are not many Rosés can do this.
