General Terms of Business

 

Rose-wine.com aims to provide good service and to meet your requirements at all times.  If we ever disappoint you please let us know.

Orders can be placed through the website, by Freephone or by post as shown in contact us.  Wine is stocked at and delivered from our central warehouse to addresses within the UK only.  Our minimum order is 12 bottles.  We do not offer a customer collection service from the warehouse.  There is generally no minimum order for glassware or other items.

Rose-wine.com is a U.K. based business.  Credit card payment is through a secure site using WorldPay and RBS Streamline.  Our bankers are the Royal Bank of Scotland.  Cheque payments are welcome, but will be cleared before shipment of goods.

Rose-wine.com conforms to the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations, the Data Protection Act, and The Trade Descriptions Act.  Transactions will be processed in Sterling.  Any disputes will be resolved under Scottish Law.

Whilst every effort is made to ensure all information contained on the website is correct, Rose-wine.com and its associates accept no responsibility for the accuracy and/or currency of the information provided.  No contingent liabilities are accepted.

Wine cannot be supplied to persons under 18 years of age.  Alcohol should be consumed in moderation.

 

Delivery

 

Wine

Standard Delivery is two working days from Monday to Friday (e.g. goods ordered on a Monday will be delivered on Wednesday), with certain exceptions for more remote areas.  If Standard Delivery is unsuitable we will do our utmost to meet requirements.  There is no charge for Standard Delivery.  Saturday delivery is available as an option at a charge of £15.00.  Should a wine be out of stock we will contact you with delivery information.

 

Other products

Delivery will normally be 2 to 14 days.  We hold appropriate stocks for prompt shipment.  If you have an urgent requirement please check delivery when ordering.  Products are sent by first class recorded delivery or by carrier. Delivery is free unless otherwise indicated.

 

Returns and Refunds Policy

 

You may cancel your order for any reason whatsoever at any time up to 7 working days from the day after the date you receive your wine, provided all of the bottles are unopened and intact

 

Please contact us before making a return.

 

Wine

Unsatisfactory wine will be replaced or refunded at the customer’s option.  Occasionally, Rosé wines may exhibit some crystallisation (wine diamonds), which is natural and should not cause difficulty.

Other Products

These are warranted against manufacturing defect and will be replaced or refunded if faulty.
